Greta's first solo art show "Beginnings" a
collection of oil paintings, photographs, oil
pastels and acrylic paintings at Baker
College, Jackson Michigan. The show is
just inside the front lobby and is open
whenever the college is in session.

Greta showed 3 oil pastels with several
other Ann Arbor Women Artists at The
Women's Center at 2425 W. Stadium in Ann
Arbor.
January 20-February 17
Wall of Art at Ella Sharp Museum, Jackson

Greta gave a talk about her art during the
"It's your turn" Ann Arbor Women Artists
members art talk at the Ann Arbor Art
Center in Ann Arbor.

This is the first chair I
have ever made. I created
it out of wood from a small
fallen tree in my yard. The
city where I live does not
pick up dead trees or
branches. I wanted to
create something practical
and organic out of the
wood. The chair was
finished in July 2009. I
plan to collect wood and
make other chairs and
outdoor furniture.
